KIDS’ FLOOR IN ANDERLECHT
One floor, three kids, 33.5m2 to completely rethink.
This lovely couple asked me to redesign the entire first floor of their home, dedicated to their three children, so that each of them could have their own bedroom, desk and wardrobe, while keeping a shower room - and avoiding major wall demolitions.

The Concept
The answer was found in custom joinery:
A bunk bed with each level accessed from a different room, a long desk running through two spaces and turning into a step leading to a third raised bed, and wardrobes that shift into bookshelves or study nooks as needed.
The common thread is the material: Polish pine plywood to tie everything together in a single, robust yet playful surface, with a strong grain pattern that can be stained and reimagined as the children grow and their tastes evolve.
